INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE PRESENTATION OF ABSTRACTS

The SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE of the 6th World Congress on Abdomino-Pelvic Pain and the 27th Annual Scientific Meeting of the IPPS on Pelvic Pain, is pleased to invite health professionals to present their research at our meeting as a poster or a symposium.

*REGISTRATION PROCESS

  1. Abstracts or symposia on pelvic pain topics may be submitted (see each category for relevant topics)
  2. They must be original work (research previously presented in other academic spaces will not be accepted)
  3. Submission opens June 15, 2024.
  4. Abstracts and symposium proposals must be uploaded to the meeting platform on the webpage www.fecolsog.org 
  5. The deadline to submit abstracts and symposia is SEPTEMBER 2, 2024 (before 23:59 Eastern Time)
  6. The abstracts/symposia proposals must adhere to the specified rules of submission.
  7. Papers submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
  8. Abstracts accepted will be presented during the conference days (October 17th and 18th) as virtual posters.
  9. Symposia accepted will be presented the first the of the meeting, October 16th.

*RULES TO FILL OUT THE ABSTRACT/SYMPOSIUM PROPOSAL FORM

  1. Language: Select Spanish and English
  2. Font: ARIAL
  3. Font Size: 11
  4. Abstracts should not exceed 250 words. Symposium proposals should not exceed 5000 words. This includes title, authors and institution and keywords, for which it is recommended to use the word counter of the Microsoft Word toolbar. No tables, figures, or special characters are allowed.

*SELECTION PROCESS

  1. Abstracts and symposia will be evaluated by the Abstract/Symposium Review Committee.
  2. The committee will define the list of accepted abstracts and symposia.
  3. Notification of acceptance will be emailed.
  4. Authors must be registered to the conference to present.
